Institute For Mental Health
Understanding the brain. Strengthening regulation.
Connecting disciplines. Using technology intelligently.
The Mental Health Challenge
Effective treatments exist, yet millions continue to struggle and access to care remains limited, especially among young people.

A Multidisciplinary Approach
Mental health is influenced by many interacting factors. We bring multiple disciplines together.
Brain function, cognition, sleep, brain injury
Diagnosis, medication management, medical contributors
Therapy, behavioral approaches, emotional regulation
Exercise, nutrition, sleep, autonomic regulation
School, work, relationships, social connection
Screening, monitoring, personalization, and better access
Mental health is not one problem. It will not have one solution.
Brain + Mind + Body + Behavior + Environment + Technology
Expertise Without Geographic Barriers
Many aspects of evaluation, counseling, education and follow-up may be available remotely, connecting patients with expertise across different locations.
Remote services may be available in multiple states, subject to provider licensure and applicable regulations.
Injury, Trauma And Mental Health
A work injury, motor-vehicle accident, concussion, chronic pain, surgery or other distressing life event can also significantly affect emotional well-being.
TMS Treatment
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is a noninvasive neuromodulation treatment used for certain psychiatric conditions. TMS uses magnetic pulses to stimulate targeted brain networks and may be considered for appropriate patients after evaluation.
AI and Innovation
We are working with the AI World Health Congress to explore how AI, digital technology, neuroscience, and new clinical approaches can improve mental-health care.
Building This Together
We invite clinicians, researchers, educators, technologists, employers, students, patients and community leaders to help build the next generation of mental-health care.
